As a young guy, I could never talk about cars. They just didn't interest me and seemed way too complicated – V-this or V-that, so many or so few cylinders, blah blah blah. Guys standing in circles, debating endlessly about engine noises, screeching tires, and horsepower. My dad made a good chunk of his side income flipping cars: buy used for himself, spruce it up, prep for export, sell, and on to the next. Me? I had zero interest in cars.
And today? I run teslify – a pure Tesla rental company in Switzerland. All because of Elon Musk.
It started with a few clips: Elon doesn't ramble on about horsepower or torque; he talks about the future. Electric drive that makes the world cleaner. Autopilot that's safer than any human driver. Software that improves itself. Suddenly, a car was a gadget that totally fascinated me. My first drive: That insane instant torque from a standstill, absolute silence, the feeling of cruising into tomorrow. I was hooked – in the best way.
That's how teslify was born: My way of passing on this excitement. Rent brand-new Teslas, straightforward and with that special something that makes all the difference. Based in Zurich, but serving all of Switzerland – because great ideas are meant to be shared.
Elon kicked off a whole movement. teslify is my small contribution: Showing more people why electric mobility rocks. Who knows, maybe you're next to think: "Cars? Never really my thing..."
Have you ever driven a Tesla?
